This Privacy Policy explains how Abstraply collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our website, apps, and related services (the "Service"). It applies to registered users and visitors alike. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

We don't ask for or knowingly collect payment card numbers, government IDs, or health data — none of these are used anywhere in the Service.

• Operate core features: scoring predictions, computing Accuracy Score and Reputation, running the leaderboard;
• Secure accounts, detect fraud, and enforce our Acceptable Use rules;
• Send service emails (resolution notices, security alerts) and, if you opt in, product updates;
• Understand aggregate usage to improve the Service;
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, plus analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control non-essential cookies through the consent banner or your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may prevent login.

We share information with:

• Service providers who host infrastructure, send email, or provide analytics under contract, bound to use data only to perform those services;
• Other users, limited to what's public by design — see Section 7;
• Legal & safety recipients, where required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, or property of Abstraply or others;
• Successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy continuing to apply.

Because Abstraply is a competitive, social product, some data is public by default:

You can set your account to a country-anonymous mode in settings; full leaderboard opt-out isn't available, since ranking is core to how the Service works.

We keep account and prediction history for as long as your account is active, so your Accuracy Score stays meaningful over time. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal identifiers within 30 days, though aggregated, de-identified statistics (e.g. "Event X was correctly forecast by 62% of users") may be retained indefinitely.

To exercise any of these, use the in-app controls where available or contact us as described in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we monitor for and respond promptly to incidents.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect data transferred internationally.

We'll update this Policy as our practices evolve and post the new effective date at the top of the page. For material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.
